Amber Wilson - Owner/ Dog walker

I started Amber’s Rambles in 2023 when I was just 19 years old, driven by a lifelong passion for animals and a dream of building something of my own. From day one, I ran the business completely solo, caring for every pet with dedication and love until 2025, when the business began to grow.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs and couldn’t imagine life without them. My passion for animal care started young – at just 15, I spent my summer holidays working at a dog groomer’s, helping with washing and drying. It gave me my first hands-on experience and only deepened my love for working with animals.

Today, I’m proud to offer a trusted, caring service for pets of all shapes and sizes. Whether it’s dog walking, small animal visits, or holiday care, Amber’s Rambles is all about giving your pet the same love and attention I’d give my own.

Olivia Black - Dog walker

Olivia officially joined Amber’s Rambles in June 2025, but her journey with us began a little earlier. She started by joining me on a few walks to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air—but it didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the job. Her natural way with animals and genuine enthusiasm made it clear she was the perfect fit, and I was thrilled to welcome her to the team.

Olivia now works full-time with us on Mondays and Tuesdays, and from 8am to 12pm Wednesday through Friday. She’s been a huge help and brings so much warmth and energy to every walk.

She’s always had a love for animals and got her own dog—who she adores—in 2023. As someone I trust completely, Olivia regularly looks after my own dog when I’m out for the day or away, and I know they’re in the best hands.

Her calm, caring nature and strong bond with the dogs she walks make her a valued part of Amber’s Rambles—and a favourite among our furry clients!

Amber Lucia - Dog sitter 

Amber joined the team in July 2025 as our dedicated full-time overnight dog sitter, bringing with her a wealth of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for animal care.

With a background working in a variety of animal-focused roles—including kennels, farms, and equine yards—Amber has spent years caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. She currently works as an animal handler and assistant in a veterinary practice, where she supports the team with daily care and handling of patients.

In September, she’ll be taking the next exciting step in her career as she begins studying Veterinary Nursing at university—further deepening her knowledge and dedication to animal welfare.

Amber’s calm, reliable presence makes her a perfect fit for overnight stays. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, sticking to a pet’s usual routine, or just offering comfort while owners are away, she always goes the extra mile to make pets feel safe and loved.
